We are an alternative to your conventional bread and pastry bakery. We are the first all gluten free artisanal bakery in Berlin, where baked goods are fresh and simple. That’s why we named our bakery the “Jute Bäckerei”, which means “the good bakery” in Berlin’s local dialect.
From buckwheat, rice, corn and potatoes to millet and chestnut flour, we use almost everything you can imagine to make fresh bread, rolls and delicious cakes and pastries. Our recipes are based on the latest scientific knowledge, inspiration, passion, innovation and a lot of experience. They are also constantly refined and developed by our bakers. Our baking ingredients are of the highest quality, produced according to organic and Demeter standards.
The way we work is very traditional and you can even come and watch our bakers in action as they prepare mouth-watering treats!
For us it is important that our products taste really good so that they are a real alternative to conventional bread and baked goods - so good that everyone will like them.

And not only do our baked goods meet these guidelines, our coffee and tea is of the highest quality, sustainably grown and fair trade certified. Of course, you can also enjoy our beverages with soy or rice milk.
